ULS 604E - Traffic Flow Theories
Course Objectives
1. To teach modelling approaches on traffic flow by explicitly considering the fundamental relationship of vehicular traffic flow;
2. To teach formulation approaches on analytical and simulation-based models;
3. To teach to design a flow propagation process on a sample network by employing an analytical model; and
4. To direct the students to research on the recent advances in traffic flow modelling.
